Can't sign in? Let's get you back in.
Find what is happening below. Most of these take a few minutes, and you can always call us.
- I forgot my password
- It says my password is wrong
- My account is disabled
- Something after signing in
- Talk to a person
Your username
Your username is your Luther Rice student email address, for example john.smith@student.lutherrice.edu.
Type all of it, including @student.lutherrice.edu. Some usernames include a middle initial or a number.
Not sure what yours is? Call us and we will tell you.
I forgot my password
Reset my password- On that page, type your student ID (two letters and four numbers, like LP1234) or your Luther Rice email, and press Reset Password.
- We email you a link. It goes to your personal email address, the one we have on file, not your school email.
- Open the link within one hour. It works only once.
- Choose a new password with 8 to 20 characters, including a capital letter, a small letter and a number.
No email after 10 minutes? Check your spam or junk folder. If the page says it could not find a personal email address on file, call us and we will help you over the phone.
It says my password is wrong, but I'm sure it's right
- Type your whole username, including @student.lutherrice.edu.
- Check that Caps Lock is off.
- After 10 wrong tries in 30 minutes, sign-in is paused for your safety. Wait 30 minutes, then try once.
- Is your password longer than 20 characters? Reset it to one with 20 or fewer. Longer passwords can work in some places and not in others.
Still not working? Reset your password.
It says my account is disabled, or I got an email about a sign-in attempt
Accounts that have not been used for a while are turned off. This is routine and does not affect your student record.
A new password will not turn it back on. Email infotech@lutherrice.edu with your full name and student ID, and we will turn it back on.
My password works, but something after that doesn't
- Start at mycampus.lutherrice.edu, sign in there, and use the links inside. Old bookmarks often point to pages that have moved.
- If you are asked for a code or an approval you cannot complete, call us.
- Outside the U.S.? Some networks block parts of our sign-in. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data, and turn off any VPN. If that does not help, tell us which country you are in.
- Once you are signed in, mySupport can help with Moodle, videos, email and more.
